Editorial Note
Interesting results that show the effectiveness of Beauveria bassiana on Rhipicephalus microplus, the characterization of Phytophthora and the response of cucumber to the application of QuitoMax, appear in the third issue of 2018. Topics as varied as a new substrate for the acclimatization of vitroplants of sugar cane, the biomass of Bambusa vulgaris as an alternative for the recovery of degraded soils, the selection of genotypes of sugarcane in areas with environmental stress, the effect of different biostimulants in the yield of the common bean, and the endophytic microorganisms associated with Theobroma cacao, can also be found in this issue. Two new contents to highlight are the rescue of the historic herbarium of the Agrarian University of Havana and the catalog of medicinal plants in the collections of Villa Clara, brief communications that close the contents of this issue.
