Centro Agrícola is an open access journal that publishes free original scientific articles in Spanish, with the objective of disseminating the scientific and technological advances on topics Agriculture. The journal does not charge for sending manuscripts for publication and all content is freely available, at no cost to the user or your institution. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, translate, search or link to the full articles. This is in agreement with the definition BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative) of open access.

All articles published in Centro Agrícola are open access and immediately made available on-line since its publication on the website of the journal. Readers can read, download, copy, distribute, print, translate, search or link to the full texts of the articles are published at no cost. All articles are licensed under the terms of the Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) ,except where specified otherwise, allowing the use, distribution, reproduction in any medium and translation of the content without restrictions, provided that the work is properly cited.
Arbitration Policy
Centro Agrícola, follow the procedure that receives each manuscript submitted to a process of double blind peer review system (proceso de evaluación por pares sistema doble ciego) by members of the Body Referees who collaborate with the edition of the journal. The evaluation system allows the identity of the review authors, not known by the authors of the submitted manuscript and vice versa during the arbitration process. The anonymity of the collaborators contributes to an objective evaluation of the manuscript and also releases the referees of any influence by the authors at critical comments.
All original writings are subject to extensive peer review, in consultation with members of the Editorial Board and independent external referees who collaborate with the journal. Manuscripts are evaluated rapidly and the decision by the Editorial Board on the basis of all comments, suggestions and valuations, are sent to the author. The body referees makes every effort to accelerate the review process.
Copyright
The authors of the articles published in Centro Agrícola retain copyright of their work, but agree that the journal publish the work under a Creative Commons. Authors can submit to be published free of cost, research articles short communications, opinion articles and reviews in the journal. Submitting a manuscript to the journal for publication implies that all authors have read and accepted all terms and conditions of the journal and agree that the manuscript is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International which allows unrestricted use, distribution of the document, translation and reproduction in any medium, provided the work is properly cited. In addition, we also agree that the document can be housed on the site of the journal, EBSCOhost, Biblat or other indexer journal, where you can read, download, copy, distribute, print, translate, search or link to the full texts articles that are published.
Centro Agrícola grants them to the author, the right to reproduce this article, incorporate the work in one or more collective works, create derivative works, reproduce, market the work and distribute the article.
It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to this journal have not been published and will not be submitted simultaneously elsewhere. Authors who wish to file a complaint should refer to the Editor in Chief of the journal.
Anti-plagiarism policy
The Editorial Board of the journal Centro Agrícola verifies the originality of the contents presented in the manuscripts. Editors, referees and other staff who work in editing documents reviewed considering the title, authors, keywords, etc., on the network and Internet. If detected up to 5 literal equal paragraphs that appear in another publication, the manuscript is returned to the authors that they may be corrected; if detected more paragraphs, the document is returned to the authors and dismisses for lack of originality.
Centro Agrícola, use the Plagiarism program to check the contents of the articles. The program generates a report highlighting the percentage match between the uploaded article and published material. Agricultural Center allows up to a 25 % similarity to consider the manuscript as original.
The journal encourages authors to notify the Editor in Chief if they discover errors in the published content, authors' names and affiliations or have concerns about the legitimacy of a publication. Articles that may contain infractions of professional ethical codes, such as multiple presentation, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data or the like are rejected for lack of originality.
Payment Policy Journal
Centro Agrícola is committed to the dissemination of publications that are published in it as widely as possible. The publications are free to facilitate open access, therefore, the journal does not charge a publication fee to authors in general. All authors can publish their articles for free. The decision to publish only relies on compliance with the editorial criteria.
Responsibility of the contents published
The content published by Centro Agrícola as well as the accuracy of the references and the correct citations in the text are the responsibility of the author or authors of the manuscript.

Centro Agrícola and the authors agree that the published articles are accommodated in the internal database of the journal, its website, EBSCOhost, Biblat, repository of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas, repository of the Library "José Martí "and other indexers the journal, from where you can access to read, download, copy, distribute, print, translate, search or link to the full text of the content of the articles are published.
