Editorial Note
Interesting results on the native strain COL6 of Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae in common bean, the variables related to the productivity of Acacia mangium, and the agronomic response of the chickpea to different soil moisture conditions appear in the second issue of the Centro Agrícola in 2017. Subjects as varied as the response of Daucus carota to the application of native microorganisms, the adaptability of promising clones of cocoa, the infection of Pineapple mealybug wilt-associated virus 1, 2 and 3 in pineapple plants, the effectiveness of plant extracts for the control of Praticolella griseola, and the diasporas of the most aggressive weeds in the agroecosystems of Cuba, can also be found in this issue. Dear users and collaborators, dear colleagues: After a year of intense work, Centro Agrícola arrives at number 4 of 2017, culminating volume 44 with interesting results on the control of Poliphagotarsonemus latus Banks and the colonial inhibition of an isolate of Colletotrichum acutatum Simmonds to treatments with fungicides. Subjects as varied as the proposal and reclassification of patterns for studies of resistance to brown rust, the humus in the production of seedlings of Lycopersicon esculentum Mill, the effect of phosphate limestone on the structure and quality of vertisols, the effect of ozone on stored seeds of common bean, energy investment in rural and agricultural development and nitrogen fertilization, effect on yield and attack of Diatraea saccharalis Fab. in sugarcane, can also be found in this issue.
