Editorial Note
In this number, the second of this year 2021, there is an outstanding variability of themes, where there is first an article on the spatial variability of organic matter in cultivated soils and the use of novel techniques to assess the influence of this soil component in crop productivity, as in the case of Ipomoea batatas (sweet potato). Concerning the problem of edaphological studies, there are contributions to soil moisture, physical properties, as well as the effect of salinity in the cultivation of corn. In the same way, you can find out the results obtained with the QuitoMax® in garlic, the application of the AquaCrop model in the irrigation of common beans and as the culmination of this issue, Centro Agrícola offers its readers two contributions to the flora of Cuba, and Within this theme, a new record for the Cuban ruderal flora, and a magnificent vision of the Herbarium "Julian Acuña Galé" of the University of Camagüey. Centro Agrícola continues with its informative work, after 47 years of continuous struggle in the wonderful world of agricultural sciences.
