ABSTRACT

The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the effect of different combinations of natural zeolite with complete formula fertilizers on the agronomic response of the potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) variety Desirée. Four treatments were studied: control (without fertilization), complete formula 8-9-14, complete formula 6-7-10 with 75 % of nutrients and 25 % of zeolite and complete formula 4-4,5-7 with 50 % of nutrients and 50 % of zeolite, all at a dose of 1 490 kg ha-1 plus an additional dose of 150 kg ha-1 of urea. It was evaluated the height of the plants, the number of tubers per plant, the average yield per plant, the crop's agricultural yield, the dry matter content in the tuber, the efficiency relative agricultural and tuber kg per kg of nutrient applied. The results obtained were processed through a simple variance analysis and the Duncan mean multiple comparison test. The addition of natural zeolite at 25 and 50 % to the complete formula increased the height of the plant. The components of the yield are favored with the application of fertilizers and zeolite, the treatment with 75 % complete formula and 25 % of zeolite obtained superior yields with 29.46 t ha-1.
