ABSTRACT
When taking into account the boom in pork production in Cuba, together with the importance of the use of effluents (digestates) from biogas plants, on an international and national scale, such as biofertilizers and soil improvers, minimizing the environmental pollution aspects, this work is carried out in three parts. First, technologies and methods on how to treat effluents and use them are described. After the particularities are addressed to effect these treatments and then the third part is analyzed the possible use in the Cuban case. As a result, the state of the art in the use of digestates is shown to enhance its quality and use.
