The preference of the insect was observed in time on the same ones in each one of the species. Sitophilus orizae L. prefers in both sexes, the rice before other grains like food and it didn't show preferences for the bean. The behavior grupal of the insect showed a preference marked by the rice followed by the corn, lentil and pisum. In this grains S. oryzae can be reproducing and to feed in them without its biological cycle was affected.
